There is overwhelming support for the Government’s proposal to ban wheel clamping on private land, a poll for the Sun has found. The measure, which was announced yesterday, is due to be introduced as part of the Government’s ‘Freedom Bill’ in November, and will mean that only the police and local councils will have the right to use wheel clamps or tow cars away.
