Ferrero Rocher UK has teamed up with sister brand, Raffaello, to launch a new range of premium ice creams. The range includes a trio of flavours - Ferrero Rocher Classic, Ferrero Rocher Dark and Raffaello. Targeted at ‘younger adults’, the ice creams will be available at Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Tesco next month retailing at £2.00 for a single stick and £4.75 for a pack of four.

How often do Ferrero Rocher customers consume ice cream? 

According to YouGov Profiles - which covers demographic, psychographic, attitudinal and behavioral consumer metrics - a quarter of Ferrero Rocher’s current customers eat desserts or ice cream bought from a shop once a week. Just above a fifth (21%) eat shop-bought desserts or ice cream several times a month, while 18% of them do so once a month. 

In comparison, 28% of the general Great Britain (GB) population eats store-bought desserts or ice cream “less often”, while two in ten (20%) consume such items several times a month. Similarly, 17% of the general population eat desserts or ice cream bought from a shop once a month.
