According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks perceptions toward brands on a daily basis, Amazon registered the biggest increase in Advertising Awareness for July 2025 of all brands YouGov tracks in the UK. The tech company saw an uplift of 11.5 percentage points in the observation period.

July marked the Amazon Prime Day where the company extended the event to four days.

McDonald's is the brand with the second-highest uptick in Ad Awareness. Earlier in the month the brand released its ‘Side Missions’ campaign. The fast-food chain’s score increased from 41.3% on June 26 to 47% on July 18 (+5.7 percentage points).

Rounding up the top three brands with the biggest uplift in Ad Awareness in the UK this June is personal care brand Lynx with a lift of 5.7 percentage points.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of British adults aged 18+ between 26 June and 25 July 2025. Learn more about BrandIndex.
