June 2025 brought a major shakeup to US streaming charts, with eight brand-new entries pushing aside nearly the entire May lineup. Netflix continued its dominance, capturing nine of the top ten spots, while Amazon Prime Video held on with a single hit at #7.
Ginny & Georgia debuted at #1 with a massive 237 million views from 21.9 million viewers. With 11 views per viewer, the family drama is keeping binge habits strong.
Just behind it, Blindspot claimed second place with 206.1 million views and 11.9 million viewers—averaging 17 views per viewer. Animal Kingdom followed at #3 with similarly intense engagement: 166.9 million views from just under 10 million viewers, also yielding 17 views per viewer. These two high-binge titles show how crime and action genres are driving deep rewatch behavior this summer.
Mid-table entries offered a mix of crime, comedy, and global fare. Department Q, based on the Danish crime novel series, landed at #4 with 111.6 million views, pulled from a larger audience of 20 million viewers, averaging 6 views each. Tires, a Netflix workplace comedy, came in at #5 with 83.2 million views and 9 views per viewer—another strong binge-driven entry.
Squid Game reappeared in the top ten at #6, while The Better Sister from Prime Video debuted at #7, each drawing over 79 million views but with lighter per-viewer engagement (4 views per viewer). FUBAR, a returning Netflix action comedy, entered at #8 with 66.4 million views.
The only holdover from May was Sirens, which fell six spots to #9. Despite the drop, it still drew nearly 60 million views. New at #10 was The Survivors, another high-volume performer with 54.8 million views and consistent viewership rates.
June’s numbers suggest US audiences are still chasing long-form drama and rewatchable crime thrillers. With nearly every spot on the chart turned over from last month, the competition for attention remains fierce—and shows with strong bingeability continue to win.
