October 2025 brought an almost total reshuffle to the US streaming rankings, with eight completely new entries and only two titles returning from September. Netflix continued its dominance with nine of the ten spots, while Apple TV+ and Prime Video held on with one key performer each.
At #1, Monsters led the month with 224.6 million views from 41.7 million viewers, averaging 5 views per viewer. The scale of its audience made it the clear top title, reflecting broad appeal rather than deep bingeing.
Nurse Jackie followed at #2 with 163.7 million views and one of the highest engagement levels on the list: 30 views per viewer. The medical comedy-drama has found new life on Netflix, joining a familiar category of older, rewatchable series that consistently climb the rankings once added to the catalogue.
In third place, Nobody Wants This logged 127.6 million views from 16.1 million viewers – an 8 views-per-viewer average that suggests strong word-of-mouth and steady binge momentum. Love is Blind came next at #4, stacking up 111.7 million views with 11 views per viewer, showing that the dating franchise continues to drive repeat viewing long after its premieres.
At #5, The Diplomat (US) pulled in 109.4 million views from 15.6 million viewers, with engagement of 7 views each, performing as a solid serialized drama. Apple TV+’s placed its lone entry, The Morning Show, placed at #6 with 101.4 million views and 5 views per viewer, keeping the drama squarely in the conversation.
Only two titles returned from September’s rankings: Wayward and Gen V. Wayward held its exact position at #7, earning 90.6 million views across 20.5 million viewers. Prime Video’s Gen V climbed two spots to #8, with 86.5 million views and 5 views per viewer, maintaining its place as a reliable performer in the superhero-adjacent category.
Netflix rounded out the chart with Boots (#9, 81.1 million views) and Poldark (#10, 71.4 million views, 15 views per viewer); the latter showing that period dramas can still deliver strong binge intensity when rediscovered on streaming.
