A mix of comfort TV, crime drama, and factual entertainment defined UK streaming in June 2025. The Big Bang Theory held firm at #1, but nearly half the chart was overtaken by new titles, including Department Q, Ginny & Georgia, and Squid Game.

At the top, The Big Bang Theory stayed consistent with 74.5 million views from just 1.2 million viewers — an average of 60 views per viewer. The long-running sitcom continues to be the UK’s most binged title month after month.

New to the chart, Danish crime thriller Department Q stormed in at #2 with 55.5 million views and a much wider audience of 9.2 million, signaling strong early adoption for the Netflix import. Just behind it, Clarkson’s Farm jumped three spots to #3 with 55.5 million views and a similarly broad base of 10.8 million viewers. Though rewatching is slightly lower (5 views per viewer), its reach kept it near the top.

Friends slipped two places to #4 with 49.1 million views, still driven by intense repeat viewing (33 views per viewer). Another new entry, Ginny & Georgia, arrived at #5 with 46 million views and 10 views per viewer — a solid showing for a Netflix original that’s becoming a staple for younger UK audiences.

The classic sitcoms followed in familiar formation: Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Office (US) rose one rank each, coming in at #6 and #7, with high binge rates (27 and 32 views per viewer, respectively). Squid Game re-entered at #8 with more casual viewing across 5.8 million people.

Further down, House dropped six places to #9, while Superstore fell one place to #10 — though both shows continue to rack up strong engagement, with 17 and 28 views per viewer respectively.
