According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks perceptions toward brands on a daily basis, WhatsApp registered the biggest increase in Advertising Awareness for June 2025 of all brands YouGov tracks in the UK. The messaging and calling app saw an uplift of 11.5 percentage points in the observation period.

Earlier in the month, WhatsApp released a commercial highlighting privacy that no one, not even WhatsApp, can see or hear your personal messages.

Head & Shoulders is the brand with the second-highest uptick in Ad Awareness. The personal care brand’s score increased from 17% on 28 May to 25.1% on 25 June (+8 percentage points).

Rounding up the top three brands with the biggest uplift in Ad Awareness in the UK this June is Oral-B. The brand saw a lift of 7.6 percentage points.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage.
