November’s Canadian Advertisers of the Month are Air Canada, Telus, and Nescafé, each exhibiting significant increases in Ad Awareness as tracked by YouGov BrandIndex. Ad Awareness measures the percentage of consumers who have seen an advertisement for a brand in the past two weeks.

Air Canada leads with a rise in Ad Awareness, moving from 27.6% on October 27 to 34.7% on November 16, an increase of 7.1 percentage points. The increase aligns with a “Black Fly-Day” fare promotion launched in late November, targeting international markets with discounts on round-trip economy flights. It also coincides with the airline’s announcement of Winter 2025–2026 route expansion, which added new international and regional flight connections.

Telus / Telus Mobility follows with an increase of 6.1 percentage points, rising from 23.0% on October 26 to 29.1% by November 18. Telus launched a loyalty partnership with WestJet allowing customers to link accounts and earn or redeem points across both brands. In late November, the company promoted its “Buy One, Give One” holiday campaign, which provided a free phone and plan to youth aging out of foster care, for every phone purchased.

Nescafé rounds out the top three with a gain of 5.6 percentage points, increasing from 11.0% on October 27 to 16.7% on November 18.

Methodology: YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. Ad Awareness is based on asking: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” The data reflects a four-week moving average covering the period from October 26 to November 24, 2025, among Canadian adults aged 18+. The change is calculated as the difference between the lowest and highest scores within that window. Learn more about BrandIndex.
