APAC Biggest Brand Movers – June 2025
APAC Biggest Brand Movers highlights the ten brands that have registered the most statistically significant month-on-month upticks in consumer perception metrics across a selection of Asia-Pacific markets. These rankings identify the brands which have logged the greatest number of improvements across 13 metrics each month – ranging from aided brand awareness and corporate reputation, to purchase consideration and customer satisfaction. The data is taken from YouGov BrandIndex, a syndicated brand tracker which continuously collects data on thousands of brands around the globe every day.
Australia: Yakult rises to the top

Fermented milk drink brand Yakult, with improvements across nine out of 13 BrandIndex metrics, is the Biggest Brand Mover in Australia for June 2025. The brand has seen upticks across Aided Brand Awareness, WOM Exposure, Buzz, General Impression, Value, Recommendation, Quality, Consideration and Current Customer metrics.
iPad and Marriott take the next two spots with gains across seven metrics each. For iPad, the gains are in Aided Brand Awareness, Ad Awareness, WOM Exposure, Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Purchase Intent and Current Customer. Marriott’s gains are across Ad Awareness, WOM Exposure, Value, Recommendations, Quality, Consideration and Current Customer.
Not long ago, Apple announced the inclusion of iPad to its Self Service Repair program.
McCain and Hungry Jack’s, with improvements across six metrics each, round out the top five for the country.
Indonesia: Good Day is at the top of the table

In Indonesia, the Biggest Brand Movers are coffee brand, Good Day, and dairy company, Greenfields, with improvements across nine out of 13 metrics each. For Good Day, the gains came in Ad Awareness, WOM Exposure, General Impression, Corporate Reputation, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation, Quality, Consideration and Current Customer. For Greenfields, the upticks are observed in Aided Brand Awareness, Ad Awareness, Buzz, General Impression, Value, Corporate Reputation, Recommendation, Quality and Consideration.
Seasonings and foods brands, Masako, is at the third spot with gains across six metrics. Maybelline and Mie Sedaap round out the top five for this country with improvements across six and five metrics respectively.
Singapore: Cotton On rolls to the top of the table

Fashion retailer, Cotton On, has scored upticks in five metrics out of 13 in BrandIndex for Singapore. The gains are observed across Buzz, Value, Recommendation, Quality and Consideration.
Scoot airlines is parked on the second spot on the list with gains across four metrics, the same as Income Insurance which follows with improvements across four metrics as well.
Messaging platform, WhatsApp, occupies the next spot with improvements in three metrics, namely, Aided Brand Awareness, Purchase Intent and Current Customer. Retailer Asics rounds off the top five Biggest Brand Movers in Singapore scoring upticks across WOM Exposure, Buzz and Consideration.
Thailand: Dettol ranks first in Thailand

Personal hygiene brand, Dettol, has scored upticks across seven metrics in Thailand, making it the Biggest Brand Mover in the country. The improvements are across WOM Exposure, General Impression, Corporate Reputation, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation, Quality and Current Customer.
With upticks across five metrics each, three brands follow. These are Netflix (with gains in Value, Customer Satisfaction, Consideration, Purchase Intent and Current Customer), Betagro (with upticks across Value, Recommendation, Quality, Consideration and Current Customer) and Hyundai (with upticks across Buzz, General Impression, Value, Customer Satisfaction and Recommendation).
Nissan, with improvements across Value, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation and Quality rounds out the list.

Methodology
Biggest Brand Movers for June 2025 ranked brands according to the number of statistically significant score increases they achieved across the following BrandIndex metrics, between May and June 2025.
Media and Communication Metrics
- Aided Brand Awareness – Whether or not a consumer has ever heard of a brand
- Ad Awareness – Whether a consumer has seen or heard an advertisement for a brand in the past two weeks
- Word of Mouth Exposure – Whether a consumer has talked about a brand with family or friends in the past two weeks
- Buzz – Whether a consumer has heard anything positive or negative about a brand in the past two weeks (net score)
Brand Perception Metrics
- General Impression – Whether a consumer has a positive or negative impression of a brand
- Customer Satisfaction – Whether a consumer is currently a satisfied or dissatisfied customer of a particular brand
- Quality – Whether a consumer considers a brand to represent good or poor quality
- Value – Whether a consumer considers a brand to represent good or poor value for money
- Recommendation – Whether a consumer would recommend a brand to a friend or colleague or not
- Corporate Reputation – Whether a consumer would be proud or embarrassed to work for a particular brand
Purchase Funnel Metrics
- Consideration – Whether a consumer would consider a brand or not the next time they are in the market for a particular product
- Purchase Intent – Whether a consumer would be most likely or unlikely to purchase a specific product
- Current Customer – Whether a consumer has purchased a given product or not within a specified period of time
