The YouGov Best Brand Rankings 2026 reveals the brands with the strongest overall brand health in India, based on how consumers perceive them over time.
The rankings are based on YouGov’s Index score, which measures performance across Impression, Quality, Value, Satisfaction, Recommendation, and Reputation.
At the top of the list sits WhatsApp, leading the rankings with the highest overall score (60.5). Its position reflects the power of simplicity and utility. As a platform people rely on daily to stay connected with family, friends, and businesses.
Close behind, YouTube (58.7) and Google (56.6) highlight the dominance of digital discovery, entertainment, and information in daily routines.
Ecommerce and digital payments feature prominently, led by Amazon (55.2), Google Pay (54.6), and Flipkart (50.7) underlining how convenience, reliability, and ecosystem integration drive brand health at scale.
While the top 10 reflects long-term strength, the Most Improved Brands highlight where brand perception is shifting fastest.
Blinkit leads with a 6.3-point year-on-year increase to 19.4, followed by Spotify (up 4.9 points to 31.6) and Samsung, which improves by 4.6 points to reach 48.0. Further gains are seen across appliances, FMCG, and services, including LG, Coca-Cola, and Urban Company, alongside newer digital platforms such as Threads and subscription services like YouTube Premium.

Methodology
YouGov Best Brand Rankings 2026 are powered by YouGov’s always-on brand tracker, YouGov BrandIndex.
Based on over six million consumer surveys in 28 markets, rankings are based on brands’ Index scores between January 1st, 2025, and December 31st, 2025. The Index score summarizes six metrics of brand health:
- Impression: Do people have a positive or negative impression of the brand?
- Quality: Do people perceive the brand's products or services as good or poor-quality?
- Value: Does the brand offer good or poor value for money?
- Satisfaction: Are consumers satisfied or dissatisfied with their experience of the brand?
- Reputation: Would people be proud or embarrassed to work for the brand?
- Recommend: Would people recommend the brand to others or tell them to avoid it?
