A new report from the House of Commons Justice Committee has said that adults up to the age of 25 who commit crimes should be treated as young offenders, as their brains are still maturing up until this age. They hope that doing so would help reduce reoffending as young people “grow out of crime”. Would you support treating adults up to the age of 25 who have committed a crime as young offenders?
