Modern family star Sofia Vergara is being sued by her own embryos in Louisiana, where the law regards embryos as being legal people.
In a court case between her and her former fiancé, Nick Loeb, the frozen embryos created as part of their IVF treatment have been named as plantiffs, claiming that the embryos themselves have been deprived of the chance to live and to receive their inheritance.
