Jeremy Meeks, an American dubbed the ‘world’s hottest felon’, became a viral sensation in 2014 when his mug-shot went online. He went to jail in the US for 27 months for possessing a gun and previously served a nine-year jail sentence for theft. Following his release, he gained a modelling contract and has embarked on a career as a model, featuring in New York’s Fashion Week. Earlier this week he arrived in London to promote a magazine cover, but was detained for 8 hours before being deported back to the US because of his recent conviction.
