Mercedes-Benz is teaming up with Microsoft to test in-car ChatGPT artificial intelligence in more than 900,000 of its vehicles in the US. Current customers will be offered an optional beta program, which they can enroll in via either the companyâs app or from the vehicle using a voice command. According to the luxury carmaker, the technology will be used for audio requests through its âHey Mercedesâ voice assistant.
We see what Mercedes-Benz customers in the US have to say about artificial intelligence (AI).
According to YouGov Profiles - which covers demographic, psychographic, attitudinal and behavioural consumer metrics - Mercedes-Benz customers are more likely than the general US population to say that they think âin the future, artificial intelligence will help humans in most of their daily tasksâ (72% vs. 59%).
Most of the carmakerâs customers (64%) agree with the statement that âartificial intelligence is the next step in evolution.â Less than half (47%) of the general US population agrees with the statement.
