A professor at the London School of Economics has suggested that news is becoming both faster and slower. Organisations delivering newest news are becoming faster in their work, but there is also a growing need for “slow news”, i.e. more people are interested in deliberations of what happened after the dust settled and the news agenda has moved on. Following the death of American Otto Warmbier, the company that arranged his trip to North Korea announced they would no longer sell such excursions to US citizens.
