Ad Awareness measures the percentage of consumers who have seen an advertisement for a brand in the past two weeks, with change calculated as the difference between the lowest and highest scores recorded over a four-week period.
U.S. Advertisers of the Month: January 2026
January’s top advertisers in the U.S. are Planet Fitness, Trivago and Mint Mobile, each showing significant increases in Ad Awareness score.
- Planet Fitness: 8.94 percentage-point increase (from 16.45% on January 1 to 25.38% on January 28)
- Trivago: 8.88 percentage-point increase (from 15.44% on January 1 to 24.33% on January 29)
- Mint Mobile: 7.46 percentage-point increase (from 18.63% on January 1 to 26.1% on January 29)
Methodology: January 2026
YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. Ad Awareness is based on asking: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” The data reflects a four-week moving average covering the period from January 1 to January 31, 2026, among U.S. adults aged 18+. The change is calculated as the difference between the lowest and highest scores within that window.
