European Athletics has proposed that all athletics world records set before 2005 be scrapped. The move is an attempt to clean up the reputation of the sport after numerous doping scandals. With the IAAF having only stored athletes' blood and urine samples since 2005, European Athletics is concerned that the public will not be able to believe with certainty that records set before this time were done so fairly. Do you think this proposal sounds fair or goes too far? Published on 2 May 2017 Survey conducted on 2 May 2017 on 7105 GB adults
