Location, Location, Location host Kirstie Allsopp has come under fire for agreeing with a view attributed to American workers in London that the British habit of putting washing machines in kitchens is "disgusting". Asked to suggest places a washing machine could go in a home without a utility room, Allsopp suggested the bathroom, hall cupboard, airing cupboard or a “tiny laundry room”.
