A campaigner has brought a private prosecution against Boris Johnson over claims he lied during the referendum campaign and that this was “misconduct in public office”. A magistrates court has ruled that the prosecution can go ahead, and has ordered Mr Johnson to appear in court. Regardless of whether you think Boris Johnson did or did not lie, do you think it is right or wrong that the prosecution should go ahead and be tried in court?
