The 'Movember' men's health campaign is only popular among younger people, and men like mustaches more than women.

Movember is a month long, annual mustache-growing event that happens every November, to raise awareness for prostate cancer and other male cancer charities. Men grow out their facial hair, specifically, mustaches, to raise awareness all month long, and then shave at the end of the month, generating donations for charity. Movember is an event that started in 2003, in Australia by the Movember Foundation. Today people in over 21 countries are involved in the event.

According to the latest YouGov research, many Americans (48%) don't have a positive or negative opinion of mustaches, but more men (39%) have a positive opinion of mustaches than women do (25%). A higher percentage of women also have a negative opinion of the upper lip duster.
