In September 2025, Apple was named YouGov’s Advertiser of the Month in Denmark, following a significant 8.7 percentage point increase in Ad Awareness, climbing from 12.0% to 20.7% by month’s end. This surge coincided with the launch of Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup, including the ultra-thin iPhone Air, the powerful iPhone 17 Pro, and the feature-rich Pro Max. The campaign emphasized simplicity, performance, and lifestyle integration—hallmarks of Apple’s global marketing strategy.

Apple’s September push was part of a broader global rollout, supported by high-profile launch events, teaser campaigns, and influencer-driven content. The brand’s emotional storytelling and sleek visuals helped reinforce its premium positioning and drive consumer engagement across Denmark.

Haribo’s Sweet Success

Haribo also saw a strong performance in Denmark during September, with Ad Awareness rising by 8.6 percentage points, from 10.4% to 18.9%. The brand’s playful and nostalgic advertising continues to resonate with a wide audience. Haribo’s recent campaigns focused on multipack formats, halal-certified options, and fun, family-friendly messaging, helping the brand stay relevant and accessible amid rising consumer price sensitivity.

REMA 1000 Maintains Momentum

REMA 1000, Denmark’s popular grocery chain, recorded a 6.4 percentage point increase in Ad Awareness, moving from 26.9% to 33.3%. The brand’s continued success is supported by its “Æ” campaign, which emphasizes affordability, simplicity, and bold visual identity. The campaign, launched earlier in 2024, remains impactful and aligns with REMA 1000’s positioning as a cost-conscious and consumer-friendly retailer.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of Danish adults aged 18+ between September 1st and September 30th, 2025. Learn more about BrandIndex.
