July 2025 saw familiar sitcom favorites dominate the UK streaming rankings, with Friends reclaiming the top spot. Netflix claimed nine of the ten entries, while Amazon Prime Video squeezed in with a single debut. The chart also featured several new arrivals, alongside sharp climbs for returning global hits.
At #1, Friends jumped three places from June to lead the month with 57 million views. Its 1.7 million viewers averaged 33 streams each, underscoring its enduring strength as a comfort watch. The Big Bang Theory slipped one spot to #2, but with 55.4 million views and 41 views per viewer, it remains the UK’s most intensively binged title.
Squid Game rose five spots to #3, racking up 40 million views from 7.4 million viewers. With 5 views per viewer, the global sensation continues to pull large audiences more for single season viewing than repeat marathons. New entry Untamed landed at #4 with 38.9 million views and 6 views per viewer, showing strong early interest.
Classic comedies filled much of the middle order. Brooklyn Nine Nine and The Office (US) each climbed one place to #5 and #6, with 32 and 31 views per viewer, respectively. Superstore rose three spots to #7, logging 41 views per viewer, making it one of the most intensively rewatched titles on the list.
Three new entries rounded out the top ten. Netflix’s The Sandman came in at #8 with 30.5 million views, delivering broad reach with 4.3 million viewers averaging 7 views each. Young Sheldon debuted at #9 with 28 million views and 18 views per viewer. Finally, Prime Video’s Ballard entered at #10 with 25.2 million views, appealing to a wide audience of nearly 4.9 million viewers.
