A new law has come into force in France that any commercial image which has been digitally altered to make a model look thinner must have a cigarette packet-style warning on it saying “edited photograph”. Would you support or oppose introducing a similar law in the UK?

Scientists have found that placebos (treatments or pills that are not real medicine) can work even when patients know they are fake. The so-called ‘open placebo’ appears to have no significant difference to a ‘hidden placebo’ in terms of how effective it is.
