Currently, legal migrants to the UK can apply for 'indefinite leave to remain' (ILR) after living to the UK for a certain length of time (typically five years), which if granted, allows them to live and work in Britain as long as they wish. Would you support or oppose extending the period most legal migrants have to have lived in the UK before they are granted ILR?
