YouGov’s AI-powered news tracker series shows which single story Britons heard the most about
Our news tracker asks the public to tell us, in their own words, which one news story they had heard most about in recent days. The results are then categorised by our AI topic model into the categories below.
This last week, the news stories most noticed by the public include stories about Immigration to the UK, which formed the most memorable news story for 13% of Britons. Our poll, conducted on 27-28 September, also finds that the public's attention was grabbed by the recent session of the UN general assembly, which saw Donald Trump give a speech and several delegations walk out for Benjamin Netanyahu's speech (top story for 5%), and Xi Jingping's visit to America (5%).
