We've received numerous press inquiries about data reported in a New York Times article on February 23, 2016 that came from the YouGov/Economist survey published on our website on January 20, 2016. Here is the full set of data tabulations for the poll published at the time.
The percentages reported in the NYT article were based on subsequent analyses of the underlying data performed separately by Dr Lynn Vavreck, Professor of Political Science and Communication Studies at UCLA. These analyses use a different subsample of respondents than those in the tabulations we published on our site.
Dr Vavreck has shared the full tabulations of the data used in her article, which you can view here.
