Indonesian travellers have plenty of airlines to choose from, whether they are booking a quick city break or planning a long-haul trip. But when it comes time to book, which airline brands are really winning over consumers?
In YouGov’s Indonesia airline rankings 2026, we reveal the airlines Indonesia travellers are most likely to consider for future travel, alongside the brands leading on customer satisfaction.
The most considered airlines
Garuda Indonesia claims the top position with a consideration score of 39.0, reflecting its long-standing status as the nation's flagship carrier. Citilink (23.3) and AirAsia (19.5) follow in second and third, while Singapore Airlines (17.2) and Batik Air (15.8) round out the top five.
Most improved airlines based on consideration
While the leaderboard captures where brands stand today, the improvers list reveals where momentum is building. Singapore Airlines tops the year-on-year gains with a +3.3-point increase. Emirates follows in second place with + 2.3 gain. Pelita Air's +1.9-point gain allows them to climb to 3rd place. While Super Air Jet (+1.7) and Wings Air (+1.6) rounds up the top five.
The top airlines based on customer satisfaction
When the lens shifts from general consideration to the views of those who have actually flown, a different hierarchy emerges. Singapore Airlines leads customer satisfaction with a score of 82.8. National carrier, Garuda Indonesia places second-place in term of satisfaction score with 78.4. Emirates (77.4), Qatar Airways (77.2), and Etihad (72.7) cluster tightly in positions three through five.

The rankings in this report are based on online population data. In these rankings, we have highlighted the top performing brands that are winning over Indonesian population based on Consideration among future travelers, Satisfaction among current and former customers based on Indonesian online rep. Future travelers are those who are “Likely” or “Very likely” to purchase travel and leisure products in the next 12 months.
Consideration score is based on the question: “When you are in the market to purchase travel and leisure products, from which of the following would you consider buying?” For the Satisfaction rankings, respondents answered the question: “Of which of the following travel and leisure brands would you say that you are a “Satisfied/Dissatisfied Customer?”
