Business and the EU: methodology and results

YouGov invited CEOs of all FTSE 100 companies in July 2015 to be interviewed by Stephan Shakespeare about the EU referendum of whom 11 chose to to take part (between July to November 2015). We also approached all FTSE 250 companies and the UK's top 100 private companies, however we received a lower response rate due to narrow time frames (6 took part). For the Founders Forum survey we invited all 329 people on a contact list supplied by Founders Forum and 42 tech/new media entrepreneurs responded who were interviewed online. We also surveyed 501 leaders/owners of small businesses from the YouGov panel.
