The British public is largely supportive of Prince William’s ‘modern’ courtship and bride-to-be, but is still a stickler for tradition and the more time-honoured rituals of royal marriage, our results on the wedding show.

However, our results suggest that ‘Waity Katie’, as the tabloids dubbed her prior to the engagement, had better find a job if she wishes to be seen as a truly modern princess.
