YouGov European tracker series looks at Donald Trump's popularity in Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Spain
United Kingdom
February’s tracker poll found that 13% of British respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 83% had an unfavourable opinion.
This represents a slight decrease in popularity since January’s survey, with the number of British people holding a favourable view three points lower and the number with an unfavourable view remains largely the same.
France
February’s tracker poll found that 13% of French respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 81% had an unfavourable opinion.
This represents a notable decline in popularity since January’s survey, with the number of French people holding a favourable view five points lower and the number with an unfavourable view five points higher.
Germany
February’s tracker poll found that 10% of German respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 86% had an unfavourable opinion.
These scores are within the margin of error of those for January’s survey, and therefore represent little change.
Italy
February’s tracker poll found that 13% of Italian respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 79% had an unfavourable opinion.
These scores are within the margin of error of those for January’s survey, and therefore represent little change.
Spain
February’s tracker poll found that 16% of Spanish respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 82% had an unfavourable opinion.
This represents a notable fall in popularity since January’s survey, with the number of Spaniards holding a favourable view remaining largely the same and the number with an unfavourable view five points higher.
Denmark
February’s tracker poll found that 3% of Danish respondents had a favourable opinion of Donald Trump and 95% had an unfavourable opinion.
These scores are within the margin of error of those for January’s survey, and therefore represent little change.
