Between MAT P8 2022 and MAT P8 2026, the organic fresh vegetables category achieved a value index of 148% and a volume index of 149%, making it one of the fastest-growing segments within fresh produce.

✅ Purchase frequency continues to increase
Consumers are not only buying organic vegetables more often, they are also making purchases more frequently. The average annual purchase frequency increased from 10.2 occasions in 2022 to 13.3 occasions in 2026, representing a 31% increase.

✅ Higher spending per buyer
As purchase frequency rises, so does category spend. Average annual spend per buyer grew from €26.87 to €34.71, an increase of 29% compared to four years ago.
