Bospar’s PR & Marketing in The New Normal report reveals that 86% of Americans would purchase from a company that has appeared 10 times in the news.
As per the report, 88% of Americans said seeing stories about brands placed through PR activity would make them visit the company’s website. Of those polled, 92% said they would purchase products from a brand, having seen stories placed through PR activities.
41% of Americans ranked PR news stories as the first source to read before purchasing a consumer product, followed by consumer reports at 40%. Further, 78% of Americans said, they were impacted by the pandemic.
And, 81% said companies must take actionable steps to win their businesses including helping health workers fight COVID-19 (49 percent). However, buying only essential goods (35%) and price concerns (30%) are popular consumer sentiments.
